Big trees on working properties
The valley has some of the biggest trees in our area: old gums on the river flats, along driveways and on property boundaries, many of them left standing or planted generations ago. Big old gums drop limbs, especially in strong wind and on hot summer days.
On working properties the aim is usually to keep tracks, sheds, fences and visitor areas safe without losing the shade. For wineries and venues, we plan the work for your quieter days.

Local rules in the Swan Valley
The Swan Valley has its own planning scheme under the Swan Valley Planning Act. If trees are coming out as part of new building or development, check with the City of Swan whether approval is needed.
