Tree removal and lopping questions

How much does tree removal cost?
Every tree and every block is different, so we don’t have a price list. We work out how long your job will take and give you one price for the whole thing, including travel. Our pricing page explains what changes the cost.
Are your quotes free?
Yes. Call, or send the quote form with a few photos, and we’ll come back to you with a price.
What does a tree mulcher actually do?
We use a wood chipper to turn branches, prunings and fallen timber into mulch, right there on your property. It’s the cleanest way to deal with what comes down when trees are pruned or removed, and it’s where our name comes from.
Can I keep the mulch?
Yes. Tell us where you want it and we’ll leave it there, or we can take it away. Fresh mulch works well on paths and around established trees and shrubs.
Do you grind stumps?
Not ourselves. We cut stumps off as low as is practical. If you want the stump ground out, tell us when you ask for a quote and we can bring in a stump grinder.
Do you do emergency call-outs?
Not after hours at the moment. We take storm jobs during business hours and work through them in order of urgency. If a tree is on a powerline, stay at least 8 metres away and call Western Power on 13 13 51. If anyone is in danger, call 000.
