Tree jobs we do on acreage
- Pruning limbs up over driveways and tracks so trucks and horse floats can get through
- Cutting trees back from houses, sheds, water tanks, solar panels and fences
- Removing dead or dangerous trees near buildings, yards and paddocks
- Clearing trees off fence lines after storms so the fence can be fixed
- Chipping branch piles instead of burning them
- Cutting branches back from firebreaks and fence lines
Chip it, don’t burn it
Burning a big pile means waiting for the right weather, getting a permit in the restricted period, and not burning at all through summer. Chipping it on site needs no permit and no waiting on the weather, and it leaves you with mulch you can use or have taken away.
Access on rural blocks
Our chipper is towed, so it needs a track that a vehicle and trailer can get down. When you ask for a quote, let us know about:
- Gate widths and any locked gates
- Steep sections, creek crossings and soft or wet ground
- Stock, dogs or horses that need to be kept away from the work
- How far the trees are from the nearest track
Native vegetation
Clearing native vegetation in WA needs a permit from the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation unless an exemption applies. Exemptions depend on what you’re clearing, where and how much. Pruning and removing a few trees around the house is a very different thing from clearing a patch of bush, so if you’re planning more than a few trees, check with the department or your council first.
